One of the most popular kinds of deals that many hotels offer is the book two nights and stay an extra night for free. Another kind of deal is the simple one of booking through a certain website or agency and getting a percentage off the usual cost of the room. Some agents actually offer package deals that include airfares for those who are flying into the city. Others offer one or more free meals, or free entry into a specific tourist attraction. Some may even offer free meals or free accommodation for children under a certain age.

Brisbane Hotels for the Business Traveller

There are many different types of hotels in brisbane and often they are aimed at a certain class of people such as budget travellers, families or business people. This ensures that your specific needs can be met and you will have a happy stay no matter who you are.

For instance, when business people are travelling they often have needs that families or couples would not want. Business people who travel for business reasons will often need to have access to meeting rooms with sound equipment or white boards to help them make their presentations, or to set up meetings with colleagues. Such rooms may need to have chairs and tables or just chairs, depending on the type of meeting that is being held there. Drinks and snacks may be needed and this can be attended to by the hotel staff to make things easier.

The business traveller may also need access to a fax machine and have a telephone in his room to make long distance calls, although this is not quite as necessary as it used to be since most will have mobile phones. Still, if the hotels are out of the main city it is possible that mobile phone coverage may not be available. And if the calls are of a long duration there is the problem of the battery running out. So a landline phone is really still essential.

Business people also need quick access to meals and they will very likely need laundry service if they are there for more than a day or two. Many also like to be able to relax in an outdoor area, swim in the pool or go to the gym after their business meetings.
